(WARNING: Picture post ahead. My profuse apologies to everyone with dial-up. I had to use dial-up this weekend. Enough said.)
We arrived in beautiful Poland, Maine on Friday afternoon. We drove by the sign for THE Poland Spring plant. Nice. 8-) The water at the Denny’s house (the folks we’re staying with) in Poland has well water and is delicious. It’s Poland spring water after all! We started our time of fellowship by playing volleyball with the Denny’s until dusk. The team opposite mine, composed of 4 guys, decided they were tired of beating us (haha) and played only with their feet and heads. It was hilarious! Ok, I was almost crying it was so funny. We finally beat them but they got a surprising number of shots.
We learned how to play 4 on a couch after supper and played on Saturday as well, after we were finished knocking down some walls. ; ) So yeah, you need some walls taken out? Call the MacDonald Family Singers, we’ll assist on your rainy day demolition project. : ) I was relegated to photographer since there were plenty of anxious young men and women ready to kick the walls. Even though I was the photographer I have just about no pictures on here since I was using the Rebel (drool….) and Bonnie was taking video with my camera. My cd drive is broken and all the pictures from that weekend are on a cd, so yeah, maybe Bonnie will post some. (Please? : ) )
So, but yeah, after I was done taking pictures I had plenty of time to demolish walls, rip trim, and clean up. Clean up is most important because it ending up looking so nice!
"4 on a couch"
(Can anyone guess where I was sitting?)
We sang a few songs at the Denney’s church in the morning. We tried taking some test shots for a CD and then since I got so little cooperation and it just didn’t seem to be working out scratched the rest of the real shots. Dad didn’t feel well and he needed a nap anyway.
I went out with the chick Sunday afternoon. He didn’t see me walk about 15 feet away so he’s standing there next the camera case peeping like there is no tomorrow. We've found that the chick likes to follow people around, it must think we're it's mother or something. It took the trip rather well, btw. ;-) Maybe we can take it with us in a few weeks?? :D
We sang at a church in the evening and that turned out. How did it turn out you’re asking? Oh. Well, poor dad was having a really hard time with the sound system. The mics that were suppose to be checked weren’t and the bass pickup wasn’t working, etc., etc. But, the Lord blessed a lot of the people and they were very appreciative. They want us back sometime when they can get all the churches together in one building/place. Oh and we met the lady who inspired Bonnie to yodel!!!! She was pretty bashful but we did get a pic with her. Bonnie, are you going to post that?
Thanks to Mrs. Denny for the photographs. :-)
We went to the ocean on Monday with the Dennys and folks from the church. We had a wonderful time and took lots of pictures...
Fort Popham.
That was pretty cool.
A view from a window.
Kayla and Ethan. : )
More of inside…
Outside. See Bonnie in the window? :)
Ruthie, Bonnie, Amanda, and Kayla watching a Frisbee contest.
Hannah turned into sand??! ;-)
Everything looked so "Maine".
Hmhmm.
Pretty, pretty.
I know the horizon is tilted (my fault!) but it would have made a nice picture otherwise.
Walking on the beach…
Kayla explaining how swimming was not a good idea. And, Ruthie backing her up. (Right?)
They actually got WET. Brrr.
Mrs. Denny and Bonnie. :-D
We played volleyball!
Look at those muscles!

Peter holding down the fort, er, foul line.
Our volleyball group.
The sun is going down...
Me.
The bus getting ready to head back home…
We pulled in this morning and are enjoying being home. Please continue to pray for dad. He is still about the same, if not worse. Lord willing we leave on our fall 2007 tour early in October. States we’re planning to visit include New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and other states which connect all these. Please pray for us as we prepare!
