Carol's Carols?
I was inspired by a coworker to record and compile a batch of Christmas Carols. Here are 6 of them. Hope you all enjoy and have a wonderful weekend. :)

Game Over
Are we will living like we're gonna die?
If you only had a few days left what would that time be spend it on?
Would you go make everything right with your brother?
Would you make things right with God?
Do you have a peace that passes all understanding or are you still deep down uncomfortable at the thought of answering to God for what you did with your life and what you did with Jesus? (You know, that guy everyone talks about?)
No one knows how long they have left. You could have years, or just hours before your number gets called. Don't put off today what you could be doing NOW. Live for Jesus and forsake your sin, the world and it's perverted and deceptive ways and ideas. In the end it's not going to matter how popular you were, or how awesome you looked, but what you did with Jesus.
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV
Seek God today. That's never a waste of time.

Another rug project bites the dust. I'm starting to collect more rugs than I know what to do with. I think eventually I'll list a few for sale.
We saw SNOW flurries and we're due for a big storm this weekend. Winter has arrived.
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;”
John 11:25 NIV

This was on a trip in a van a few weeks ago. We were stuck in traffic. I did get some right side up hearts eventually, but I liked how the lighting turned out in this one.
"How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!"

:checks temperature:
Ahh. I do feel like a cold might be drifting on. I've been stuffing myself with vitamin C, orange juice, silver, and Zicam (and Thanksgiving leftovers.) Maybe I need to take out the heavy guns and use the garlic? : P I'll be sure to stay well all season, as no one will come within 25 feet of me after that. :D
Ok, enough of myself.
Here's a shot from a few days back. I used a white plastic bag and a flashlight of the lighting.

Slowly but surely I'm chipping away at the piles of tshirts for rugs. Above is the most recently completed project. I'm finally getting a the hang of 'round' as I've only been able to tackle straight square rugs. Circular is improvement. :)
We had a great trip to NJ and back this weekend. It was great to see the familiar faces and meet new ones. :) A few pics will probably follow on the main family blog in a few days.
We drove through SNOW, yes, snow in Connecticut. Brrr! I'm glad the forecast is calling for warmer weather in the future. Florida here we come?? Ok. Not yet. :) Maybe Florida won't be as cold as last year! I'm getting my order in for nice and warm now. :D
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

How does time slip away so quickly?
Welcome to November! Rain and cold has been the trend yesterday and today.
The leaves are pretty much over. A few browns and rusts hanging on. I'm so so glad we were here for peak. What a neat unexpected blessing. :)
I have 6 beautiful pumpkins down waiting for processing. I'm so excited about making all things pumpkin. :) I'll have to post a few recipes eventually.
Found a bit of color even in the cold bleakness. :)
Have a blessed weekend!

I'm baaaack! Yes, I know. Great rejoicing and celebrations are in order!! : P
I've been busy with capturing and preserving the glorious color of October as my abilities will allow. It's been a learning curve. Always something new to learn!
Why can't fall last for a few more months? :)

"On the street where you live...."
Yes, fall is here! Yes, we're back on our home turf. Yes, the colors are fabulous. God's so good! I'm waiting for the rain to stop so I can head out again and get some of the beautiful color captured before it's alllll gone.
In the meantime, we have plenty of project that need doing. So, I'm off to tackle them. ;)
Toodles!
“How great you are, O Sovereign LORD!
There is no one like you,
and there is no God but you,
as we have heard with our own ears."

I was privileged to be a part of a wedding last week. Between singing and taking photos here and there I got to curl hair. :)
The cake was beautiful and sweet.
The cake was beautiful and sweet.
The princess was beautiful...
And they are now living Happily Ever After. :)
:sigh: :)
On another note: WE ARE ALMOST HOME! I will miss a lot of things on the road (a ton!) but one I won't is the crazy FICKLE wifi connections. I think I just got a mega dose of "patience" working out the connection issues tonight.
Hope you all have a good week! Not sure I'll be back before the end of the week to check in or not.
Carol :)

Getting wifi two nights in a row....this is going to spoil me. :) Oh never mind the wifi dropped out. :D Hopefully it will be back in time to publish this post. I'm sure Matthew is working on fixing as I type. I hope it's a fixable problemo. Ah. And we're
back. :)
Btw, I've definitely got the cold. Bummer! :) Tomorrow night in an outdoor concert should be interesting!
September 12, 2010
Oh yes! :)
I guess it's been a while since I've done a "slice of life" blog.
We're about ready to hit the road and I finished all our new outfit combinations in time! Which is a big yay! Thank you, Lord.
I figured out how to get my polarizer filter OFF my camera. Whew. :) I took a bunch of photos today.
I've finished a couple more braided rugs...I'll have to post some photos later. :)
Hmm...that wasn't very long now was it?

:listening to Handel's Messiah:
Looking at the heaping amount of raw materials I'm gathering for my rug project I'd say I'm going to need a whole separate room to craft in very soon. Can someone say sewing studio? Mhmm. Speaking of crafting I desperately want to weave a rug. I have a feeling it could be a total disaster or total bliss. Kinda covers most of the bases. : P If anyone needs inspiration or ideas. Flickr.com is loaded with crafty people with awesome ideas. So, here are my lastest creations..unfinished due to running OUT of fabric. Is that possible?? Hehe. ; )
In other news I have some separation anxiety. Yes I do. The lovely D90 never got unpacked from the bus and it's STILL IN THERE. That tends to happen when you arrive home at 12am, hardly open your eyes enough to find your tremendously HUGE bed and seal your eyelids till the morning light. At least I remembered to bring in the laptop....*yawn*
Random photo of the week...

Karissa and Susanna at Alton Bay Conference Center! Glad to see you gals again!
I finally got caught up on the New York blogging at the family blog yesterday as some may have noticed. I have a mental to do list a mile long....so I'd better scoot and not try to get ahead of myself and blog on time. : P

It has been a wonderfully blessed weekend. I praise the LORD for His goodness. His presence is beyond amazing.
Being content is not dependent on circumstances, but our ability to trust our Father.
Hope you all are having a good weekend. ^_^
Be joyful in hope...
