Wow…..it’s been a while since I’ve posted.
I guess I should give you all an update.
I’ll break this down into categories….
Health: Dad is still sick. He’s down his all time low weight and getting over a cold. He’s on a new therapy of SBO, soil based organisms. So far it doesn’t seem to be hurting him.
Farm trip: We went on another farm trip. Yay! We like going there. : ) The boys threw tires over the grain storage areas. Phew.
They sure got dirty doing that. The girls had to be content with not throwing big wet and smelly tires and worked in the farm stand. They rearranged the tables, plants, and weeded.
Our fall trip: We’re working on making our house ready for us to leave it. This includes a BIG pantry clean out and frig emptying. We’re eating lots of freezer food, too. My goal before we leave is to totally reorganize the label the kitchen items in the bus. I’m discovering the real key to being organized is very simple. Everything has a place and you put things BACK in their place. The problems come when nothing has a designated space and no one puts things back because there is no space. I’m hoping labels will help me.
Other things that have been going on include studio work. We have a cd which we will be listening to the whole trip and hopefully find all the little problems spots that need tweeking before making the master. We are really behind on the graphics but we have a picture we want to work with at least. We might have settled on a title. I hope we have. It’s kinda of related to our first album name, Honey in the Rock, and it a direct quote from a song in out current repertoire for anyone who cares to guess.
Oh and...for anyone who wants to know....the best level to set the volume level on your portable audio device is 75db. 55db is too low and you WILL be laughed at when you complain you can’t hear the music when someone talks or a car drives by. : P
We had to leave our chicken with our friends. : ’( It’s kinda sad but it’s only for 6 weeks and she’s in good hands. A few minutes after we left her I saw a fruit fly and I thought Henrietta-Drumstick (like the name? :D It’s either one, depending on who you ask. : P ) would enjoy it. *sniff* I had to remind myself she was gone....for now. We are suppose to pick her up again when we get home. :)
Our little bug eater....she eats them right off the front the bus, dried up and everything!
The guys can get her to lay on her back.
Mom can make her go to sleep real quick. :-)
Quality time goodbye time....*sniff*
Last but not least, thank you all for your prayers. I’ll try to post one more time before we head out to Philadelphia, the first stop on our trip, on Thursday.

(WARNING: Picture post ahead. My profuse apologies to everyone with dial-up. I had to use dial-up this weekend. Enough said.)
We arrived in beautiful Poland, Maine on Friday afternoon. We drove by the sign for THE Poland Spring plant. Nice. 8-) The water at the Denny’s house (the folks we’re staying with) in Poland has well water and is delicious. It’s Poland spring water after all! We started our time of fellowship by playing volleyball with the Denny’s until dusk. The team opposite mine, composed of 4 guys, decided they were tired of beating us (haha) and played only with their feet and heads. It was hilarious! Ok, I was almost crying it was so funny. We finally beat them but they got a surprising number of shots.
We learned how to play 4 on a couch after supper and played on Saturday as well, after we were finished knocking down some walls. ; ) So yeah, you need some walls taken out? Call the MacDonald Family Singers, we’ll assist on your rainy day demolition project. : ) I was relegated to photographer since there were plenty of anxious young men and women ready to kick the walls. Even though I was the photographer I have just about no pictures on here since I was using the Rebel (drool….) and Bonnie was taking video with my camera. My cd drive is broken and all the pictures from that weekend are on a cd, so yeah, maybe Bonnie will post some. (Please? : ) )
So, but yeah, after I was done taking pictures I had plenty of time to demolish walls, rip trim, and clean up. Clean up is most important because it ending up looking so nice!
"4 on a couch"
(Can anyone guess where I was sitting?)
We sang a few songs at the Denney’s church in the morning. We tried taking some test shots for a CD and then since I got so little cooperation and it just didn’t seem to be working out scratched the rest of the real shots. Dad didn’t feel well and he needed a nap anyway.
I went out with the chick Sunday afternoon. He didn’t see me walk about 15 feet away so he’s standing there next the camera case peeping like there is no tomorrow. We've found that the chick likes to follow people around, it must think we're it's mother or something. It took the trip rather well, btw. ;-) Maybe we can take it with us in a few weeks?? :D
We sang at a church in the evening and that turned out. How did it turn out you’re asking? Oh. Well, poor dad was having a really hard time with the sound system. The mics that were suppose to be checked weren’t and the bass pickup wasn’t working, etc., etc. But, the Lord blessed a lot of the people and they were very appreciative. They want us back sometime when they can get all the churches together in one building/place. Oh and we met the lady who inspired Bonnie to yodel!!!! She was pretty bashful but we did get a pic with her. Bonnie, are you going to post that?
Thanks to Mrs. Denny for the photographs. :-)
We went to the ocean on Monday with the Dennys and folks from the church. We had a wonderful time and took lots of pictures...
Fort Popham.
That was pretty cool.
A view from a window.
Kayla and Ethan. : )
More of inside…
Outside. See Bonnie in the window? :)
Ruthie, Bonnie, Amanda, and Kayla watching a Frisbee contest.
Hannah turned into sand??! ;-)
Everything looked so "Maine".
Hmhmm.
Pretty, pretty.
I know the horizon is tilted (my fault!) but it would have made a nice picture otherwise.
Walking on the beach…
Kayla explaining how swimming was not a good idea. And, Ruthie backing her up. (Right?)
They actually got WET. Brrr.
Mrs. Denny and Bonnie. :-D
We played volleyball!
Look at those muscles!
Amanda, doing something.
Peter holding down the fort, er, foul line.
Our volleyball group.
The sun is going down...
Me.
The bus getting ready to head back home…
We pulled in this morning and are enjoying being home. Please continue to pray for dad. He is still about the same, if not worse. Lord willing we leave on our fall 2007 tour early in October. States we’re planning to visit include New Jersey, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, North Carolina and other states which connect all these. Please pray for us as we prepare!

First, the important stuff. ; ) I watched part of the debate at Fox. Ron Paul won the debate. :-)
If you would like to hear some more informaiton on Ron Paul, please check out this video, his interview at google, or go to www.ronpaul2008.com
We had a nice time at our cookout last Saturday. It was tons of fun!
Here is our volleyball line up….it grew over the evening with three more people, but this was out initial group.
Our little chicken is growing…and he knows how to get out of his box now. Ehem. We have a chart of his weight gain and he LOVES his new light bulb. He really has turned snobby on us over the light bulb. He doesn’t want to be held at all and continues to spend his waking (and non waking) hours basking in it‘s warmth. *sigh* It was fun when he was interested in being held. Oh well.
We had his portrait done. ; ) It’s getting as much attention as a baby....lol
His neck is getting longer now but I haven’t taken any better shots recently. Bonnie deleted the card accidentally of him eating bugs. No big deal since I didn’t know they turned out good anyway.
We went to the Miller’s farm again, yesterday! I didn’t get a whole lot of pictures but I did get some. It’s nearly impossible for me to go somewhere and not get pictures. The fact is they might be so horrible I would never post them but at least I’m getting lot of practice.
First we did hay….
Bonnie did some mucking…
Hannah made me laugh when she said this cow looked like someone we knew. The scary thing was, she was right!
This wittle kitty was adorable and would have been cuddly if it wasn’t clawing and crying most of the time. ;-)
He couldn’t even walk upright.
Oh and here’s nobody…
These dogs were going at it…
We love each other, really!
Thanks to Bonnie and the rest of you for your support for a new post. :-)
