It's been a week...

...and it's now all starting to sink in.

         Our home of 18+ years was destroyed by fire and smoke early in the morning of November 18th.
                                            THANK YOU,  Lord we all made it out safely!!
                                    We can not be grateful enough for the blessing of life today.
                                                    The Lord must have more work for us.

It's been a lot to process. All the memories, all the photos lost, running through the house in my mind and remembering where everything was....it all runs through my head.  I'll never be able to bring any of my kids back "home", we'll never have family devotions in the living room again, I'll never make pizza in the kitchen again - all the "never again" things that run through your mind make me pause and realize my life just changed. A lot. We're all "down-sizing" and taking inventory of what is important to us. I know the Lord has a lesson for my family in all of this. Romans 8:28 must be taken to heart and trust that God will use this gigantic loss for GOOD.

Thank you all for your prayers for us. We have a lot of things to deal with today and as we look ahead.

3 Months and Counting!

It's been three months since little Joanna made her grand appearance!

We are so thankful for this little bundle of joy and are enjoying watching her grow.

Fall Tour is ....almost over?

Only three weeks and days left! Where has the time gone? 

I was sick the day we left on the trip so I didn't even alert our facebook page to the fact the Fall Tour was starting. Joanna has been taking to bus life fine. As long as she has food she is one happy little bus passenger. :)

Fall catch up

Getting ready for trip isn't as easy as it sounds when you have a little baby to take care of. :) It also meant WAY less time to blog. Joanna was present at her first concert on the "outside" the day after we left. We were so busy taking care of her we didn't get a single photo. :)

Bump Photo Update

We are 37 weeks and days now....! Seems a little unreal I'm NOT going to be 

pregnant anymore in a few weeks and instead I'll be taking care of a little baby. Exciting times. :)

Week 36

We're on week 36. THE END IS IN SIGHT!

Granted it's still 3 weeks + days but hey, time to plodding on! Actually speeding along.
I have lots to do before I get laid up tending to Thumper!

It's hilarious to look back at the weeks gone by, especially the early weeks; I practically
 didn't even HAVE a bump. :D 


It's been super super hot here recently. I'm really looking forward to the t-storms tomorrow.

Week 33 - family photos

My darling [hardworking] husband has been working some long hours (a 25 hour shift!?),
so Sunday I took advantage of him being HOME and we took family photos!

33 weeks .....tomorrow

Hi everyone! Just chilling out after a walk and decided to blog real quick. It's VERY steamy
at least for us, in the Northeast today. Thankfully the heat wave is scheduled to be over
tomorrow. YES!

Seth worked super late (25 hour shift!) so I was messing around and learning how to layer
again the other night. I had learned before, but I tend to forget something if I don't use it.

So anyway.... finished product of my learning labors.

I don't have a baby bump photo today but we are hoping that we'll have time for a

Hollis family photo shoot Sunday. Looking forward to that!

31 Weeks

I like my baby bump. Life is speeding by it seems.

28 Weeks

27 weeks

Over the weekend we SANG after a month of break. It was great to get back in the saddle again.
We have one more week off and then, a couple busy weekends.  Looking forward to it! Now I just
need to adjust my wardrobe choices to reflect thumper!

Little baby is getting bigger!! Which is awesome.  I was very pleased 

the lady who we were buying pepperoni today asked if I was craving it. 

That means people can actually tell I'm pregnant. YAY! :D

Ok, gotta tackle some dishes! Toodles. :)

Springtime

Blogger changed the format in which I post. Let me just get my barrings.... Ah. Ok. I can do this. I hope. :) I'm getting bigger and bigger in the front.

24 weeks and a few days here. I love feeling the baby move around and kick me and nudge me. So sweet! I've heard it gets painful when the thumping gets harder. I'll just enjoy the "fun" for now. :) I've been neglecting the camera almost since we've been home, but today I took a walk to some places I'd noted would make fun photo shoots and tried to beat the sun going down. My efforts today garnered these offerings...

Ooo. I like how blogger is posting the pictures EXACTLY where I want them and not at the top of the page as usual. :likes new change: Well, that's all for tonight. Morning seems to come early these days! Maybe I'll be able to put a news posts together soon....after I get the onions planted and the strawberries mulched!

Welp. Baby is 23 weeks and I'm feeling good. Yay!

My laptop went into the store for a fix and I don't have a replacement yet so no new photo edits to share.

Here's a photo from last year, of a cheerful type. Spring is in the air here for sure though...maybe I'll get some fruit tree blossom photos of our overloaded trees!

21 weeks was Friday. Never got any more 20 week pictures. Bummer. Anyway...



Does anyone have any organizational tips for sewing/craft areas? I've found some neat ideas, like using comic boards for bolts and using see through containers on-line. If you guys have found some hints from websites or have your own methods. I'd love to hear them.

I'm taking a breather. I planted a long row of peas with mom with morning and just finished lunch a bit ago. The baby is kicking and Seth felt Thumper 4 times in a row last night. So sweet!
